A native of St. John's, we are pleased to
welcome Rev. Kelly back to her hometown. Rev. Kelly has been with us since 2005.
In Rev. Kelly's 10 years of ministry she brings much experience in ministering in a
way where people of all ages can gather together in worship, fellowship and service in the
name of Christ. Rev. Kelly has served a rural congregation in Northern Ontario and
congregations in Fall River, Dartmouth and Stellarton, Nova Scotia. With Joy, Rev. Kelly
works with us as we seek to be the people of God at George Street United Church, gathering
in fellowship and reaching out to the community around us.

Our Sexton, Reg Rumsey
Reg joined the staff of the church in 1982, besides keeping the church spotlessly clean,
Reg is involved in all facets of the ongoing maintenance and repairs of our 133 year
old building. Besides his regular responsibilities Reg can be seen in the church on
evenings and weekends assisting the various groups of the church with their various
activities and fund raisers. We are very fortunate to have Reg as a member of our staff.
Reg resides in St. John's with his wife Sharon and their three daughters, Ashley, Megan
and Regina.
