THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM AT GEORGE STREET UNITED CHURCH
Baptism is a time of much joy and celebration at George Street United Church. The parent/parents of candidates for Infant Baptism are required to meet with the Minister in advance of the Baptism to share in the requirements and understanding of the purpose and meaning of Baptism. During the act of Baptism, parents are required to take vows that the Congregation of George Street United Church take very seriously. It is expected that adults for Baptism and the parents of children for Baptism will take these vows equally as serious. If you intend to have your child Baptized at George Street United Church, please contact the Church office at (709) 726-8775 or by e-mail, and request a Baptism Record Form.
